FALL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT OVERVIEWSMACNA is proud to sponsor this 4-hour training session as part of its commitment to providing foremen & supervisory training in the sheet metal industry. A major hazard facing workers in our industry is falls. Walt Want of ELLIS FALL SAFETY SOLUTIONS will provide suggestions & resources related to fall protection equipment. The focus of this session is to provide information and guidance on fall protection equipment available. Special emphasis will be on tasks associated with service, SPTI, commissioning, testing/balancing and energy work, as well as pre-planning strategies for protecting workers against fall hazards in these situations. Participants will get information about various types of equipment and techniques for using them. Attendance will be limited!!!!! Documentation of attendance will be provided. Snacks, refreshments and boxed lunches will be served. Street parking is free (but limited). NOTE: PARTICIPANTS MUST PAY $8 / CAR TO PARK IN ANY MARRIOTT LOT. A charge of $25 will be assessed for each person who is pre-registered but fails to show without canceling by Friday, April 16th.
