Course Title: Fitting Input Tool Training
Training and certification for the Benchmark Fitting Input Tool (FIT) is now available online at no charge to members in good standing through the ITI Learning Portal. As a certified FIT user, you will increase your speed and efficiency because FIT:
- Replaces your fitting template when ordering duct and fittings
- Eliminates the need for double data entry by the shop foreman
- Minimizes input errors
- Makes lost shop tickets a thing of the past
- Works in real time
- Uploads instantly
- Allows you to visualize fittings in 3D graphics
- Ties in to the extended capabilities of Benchmark BIM Training Software
The Fitting Input Certification measures your ability to input fittings into batches, create electronic batch files from the data, and create shop tickets, as well as other components of the FIT software. Upon successful completion of the certification exam, you will be allowed to download the fitting input portion of the Benchmark BIM Training Software to activate the fitting input program.
Course Title: Supervisory Training
Description: This course provides an overview of the knowledge and skills needed for those aspiring to be a successful Sheet Metal Supervisor.
Course Title: Fire Life Safety Level One Technician
Description: This course provides an overview of installation, inspection, and maintenance of the various types of dampers in HVAC systems in new and existing buildings.
Course Title: Foreman Training
Description: This course provides training for those who are interested in learning the knowledge and skills needed to be a foreman in the sheet metal industry.
How to Enroll in a Course
- Do you have an ACTIVE login for the iTi Website (http://www.sheetmetal-iti.org)?
- If Yes, you can login with the same username and password you use for the iTi website. Click on the desired class, and select Yes when prompted to enroll.
- If No, go to iTi's registration and account activation page at https://www.sheetmetal-iti.org/regme.asp to activate or request an account.
- Once your account has been activated, you can use the SAME username and password to login and start learning!
***Apprentices participating in the ITI Online Learning options must provide JATC with proof of successful course completion of the ITI online course to receive credit for continuing ed hours.
